Jumpin’ Jack’s 2012 fireworks a Stockade backyard affair

Living on Cucumber Alley means never having to leave your backyard to find beauty or entertainment.  That’s certainly true each year on the Friday before the Fourth of July, when we can pull up a chair or a tripod and enjoy the annual Jumpin’ Jack’s Fireworks display.  I was a little slow of hand and eye tonight, so I did not capture quite as much of the show as in years past.  Nonetheless, this Slideshow gives a little taste of the enjoyable time we had at the end of Cucumber Alley, watching the pyrotechnics over the Isle of the Cayugas and reflected in the Mohawk River.

Thanks to Jumpin’ Jack’s and all the other sponsors for this annual treat.  And, to Sylvie Briber for inviting friends and neighbors to 1 Cucumber Alley to view the show.  You can see our prior coverage by starting at last year’s more extensive posting, and clicking the additional links you’ll find there. I’ve got a year to practice with my tripod and camera in anticipation of the Jumpin’ Jack’s fireworks show on June 28, 2013.
